Volunteering is good for your health! It’s true, and a growing body of research backs it up—so here’s your chance...

Parent Volunteers

We ask all families to try to volunteer 40 hours of your time each year. Whether during school hours, after school, working from home or during our weekend events. We have many great ways for parents to help out. Participating at school will enrich your relationship with your child and help you both get more out of the school experience. Community Volunteers

If you are a neighbor or friend and would like to volunteer at SF Public Montessori, please email the PTA at pta(at)sfpublicmontessori.org.

We will ask first that you register through the San Francisco Education Fund, who handles volunteer background checks and registration for the SFUSD. Volunteers need to complete a simple application, attend an orientation, and then you can get the rest of the process underway. The PTA has offered to pay for fingerprinting, which costs $73, but it is tax deductible through the non-profit San Francisco Education Fund.
